TeachersMap (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates teachersmap.com, a free resource platform for EFL/ESL teachers. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. We do not use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, email collection forms, or user accounts at this time, so the information we collect is limited to what is described below.

Because TeachersMap does not currently use analytics tools, advertising networks, newsletter sign-ups, or account registration, we do not knowingly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details through the site.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and WordPress installation automatically log basic technical information for security and functionality purposes, which may include:

This information is collected automatically by our web server and hosting infrastructure, not through any tracking script we have added, and is used only for maintaining site security and performance.

2. Downloadable Resources

Lesson plans, worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other teaching materials on TeachersMap can be downloaded freely, without registration, email submission, or payment. We do not track who downloads a specific file beyond standard, anonymized server logs.

3. AI Lesson Plan Generator

If you use our AI Lesson Plan Generator tool, the information you enter (such as a grade level, textbook unit, or lesson topic) is sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini API) in order to generate lesson content for you. We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to use this tool, and we recommend you avoid entering personal or identifying information in your prompts. Processing of this data is subject to Google’s own privacy practices for the Gemini API.

4. Cookies

TeachersMap runs on WordPress, which may set a small number of essential cookies needed for the site to function correctly (for example, to remember basic display preferences). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended if you do.

5. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to external websites (for example, official textbook publishers or other educational resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

6. Children’s Privacy

TeachersMap is intended for use by teachers and educators, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
